The enchantment of Cinderella's fairy godmother allows her to attend the Prince's ball but the spell is broken at midnight. In her haste to flee, Cinderella loses a slipper. The Prince, having fallen in love with the mysterious lady, vows to wed whosever foot fits the lost slipper.
