Charley and his wife have hardly a penny to their name, but all that changes when Charley begins selling shares in the Gee Whiz Gold Mine. There is a slight problem in that the mine is fictitious, but so long as new investors keep pouring money in, dividends can keep going out, and Charley can keep getting rich. Reasoning that his wife has no head for business, Charley refuses to tell her where their new found wealth is coming from. To prove her capability, she decides to secretly channel all their funds into the new guaranteed safe investment opportunity that all her friends have been buzzing about.
