Search Tips

By default, search terms will match any text related to a film, but there are several labels you can use to narrow down your search. For example, if you are searching for Black Beauty (Vitagraph, 1921), you might use any or all of these labeled search terms:

title:black beauty
name:jean paige, david smith
tag:horses, england
description:london cab horse
company:vitagraph
release:1921

For title and and name searches, spelling can be approximate. If no exact matches are found, a fuzzy search will automatically be performed to find terms that sound similar. This means that "blak byutie" or "jene page" will return the same results as "black beauty" and "jean paige".
