Peggy is in love with Frank, although Frank does not return her affection. Frank falls in with a bad crowd. He loses heavily at cards and, to pay his debts, is forced to steal $500 from his father’s safe. Little did he know that Peggy was dozing in the armchair and awoke just in time to witness the theft.
