(Houdini Picture Corporation, 1922)
On a disastrous Arctic expedition, two men discover the wreckage of a lost ship. On board is Howard Hillary, who has been frozen in place for over a hundred years after he had vainly sought to rescue his girlfriend’s father while everyone else abandoned ship. When he is revived and returned to civilization, he meets Felice Strange — a woman who bears an uncanny resemblance to his own long-dead girlfriend, Felice Norcross. Her father has also disappeared under mysterious circumstances and Hillary, certain that it is more than just a coincidence, vows this time to find him.
