Larry Ladd’s boss sends him to the bank with $10,000 to deposit, but the bank is already closed by the time Larry gets there. He cannot take the money back to the office, because everyone has gone home and will not return until morning; and he cannot take it home, because he is so far behind on his rent, his landlady threatens to seize his belongings. To make matters worse, a bank manager has just been murdered and a large sum of money stolen — $10,000, in fact. Larry must try to make it through the night while evading his landlady, the police, the criminals, and perhaps even malevolent spirits.
