(Cathrine Curtis Corporation, 1921)
Arthur Wellington Moore, an inexperienced preacher fresh from college in Montreal, is eager to start work in the small town of Swan Creek, deep in the rugged wilderness of the Canadian northwest. When he arrives, he discovers that reaching the hardened cowhands that live there will not be as easy as he imagined. Harder still to reach will be the Old Timer — an avowed atheist ever since the death of his wife — and his daughter Gwen, who the struggling “Sky Pilot” has fallen in love with.
